How do the Biological Management Plan and the Seasonal Maintenance Plan differ, and what do they include?

The Biological Management Plan is expert oversight focused on the skilled work most homeowners can't do themselves. This includes structural pruning, biological pest monitoring timed to actual pest lifecycles, codling moth and cherry fruit fly protocols, fire blight watch, and seasonal assessments. Visits are precision-timed throughout the growing season — not on a fixed calendar — because pest biology dictates when interventions matter most. After each visit you receive a written report with observations and recommendations. Between visits, you handle routine tasks like mowing paths and harvesting. How do chemical sprays hurt an orchard ecosystem?
